“TEAM RE-PLAY”:

Kathleen Oxberry and Alan Tabachnick, candidates for Colonial School Board, visited the TEAM RE-PLAY booth at Whitemarsh Little League opening day. “TEAM RE-PLAY” is a community service initiative which is the collection of previous seasons’ Whitemarsh Township Basketball, Baseball /Softball team t-shirts and gently used baseball pants. Once collected, the shirts/ pants will be grouped according to teams and given to an intercity recreation center to be used by leagues that would not necessarily have the resources for intramural team shirts. The goal is to recycle individual t-shirts that would typically become rags or tossed in a land fill, and convert them into team uniforms for the less fortunate. Donna and Matt Dressner are leading the charge on this great effort and you can drop off shirts and pants at the collection bin in the Whitemarsh Township Parks & Recreation Building For more information, contact the Dressner's at: dessnerfamily@comcast.net
